  • What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui literally translated in Chinese means “wind” and “water”. The wind carries the energy, the water holds it.  Feng Shui, known as the Chinese art of placement states that every physical object in our surroundings has an impact on us.  Incorporating the ancient practices simply creates balance in our lives by harmonizing our surroundings with nature.

Working on a subconscious level, using colors and elements, such as earth, wood, water, etc, the ancient eastern cultures have learned how to influence the energy we feel around us.

  • How does Feng Shui work?

Feng Shui works with the universal law of attraction.  We attract that which is like us.

Feng Shui works with our energy life force and the energy forces of our homes, land and places of business.

Enhance these energies by preventing blockages.

Enhance the results in our lives.

  • Who will benefit most from a Feng Shui consultation?

Feng Shui is for everyone regardless of income, career, social status or circumstance. If you are seeking a positive change in your life or situation, then Feng Shui may be the answer for you.

Feng Shui benefits all aspects of our lives to enhance success, health and wealth. Whether professional, personal, celebrities or large corporations, we are all able to take advantage of this powerful tool and create the changes we desire in our lives.

  • I've already read books on this topic, do I need Feng Shui? Would I really benefit from a consultation?

We can all benefit from Feng Shui. So the answer is simple –YES! Books can be a great resource of information but a high percentage do not discuss how to feel the energy of a space or what you can do for your specific situation.

I find that it is always helpful to have an outside party work with you to review your space to offer suggestions and point out things that you may not be aware of because you live in that space daily.

Whether for business, personal, marriage/relationships, health, wealth, creativity, children or fame, Feng Shui effects every aspects of our life.

I believe coming to this website and reading through this material is in itself a sign to make note of.

The first step in knowing if this is right for you: opening your mind to the possibility that Feng Shui can bring about balance in your life or at the very least optimize your current energy level to enjoy a healthy and content lifestyle.

The single factor that sets Feng Shui apart from any other ancient systems is that it comes with change as a default option. Most systems have evolved around acknowledging the physical world around us and religion emerged out of that.  Feng Shui has remained a philosophy that can be practiced within any culture along with their religious beliefs.

Your home and office reflect your ideas and beliefs.  Change stimulates your surroundings and in turn brings about a response in your physical state of being.  A stuck energy in the home is usually a reflection of our lifestyle and state of mind.

Have you ever walked into a room and instantly felt relaxed or calm?

  • I'm just a small company or individual.
I'm not sure I can afford a consultation.

I'm not sure you can afford NOT to receive a consultation. The whole point of a consultation is to help you to LEVERAGE your space to increase your income, improve relationships and bring new energy into your life. If you don't request a consultation, chances are you'll waste more money on ineffective methods than you'd spend with a consultation. With that being said, we do offer payment plan options.

  • Why a consultation?

Anyone can pick up a book and learn a bit about Feng Shui.  You can even take this knowledge and perform Feng Shui cures on your home and business.  This is a great start.

However, a Feng Shui expert is highly intuitive and possesses secret knowledge not available in books.  An expert can read and adjust your qi (chi) energy to help you attract positive energy.

  • So which is the true Feng Shui practice, there are so many out there?  How do you pick the best method?

There is no best method. They have all come from the same source.  Over centuries people interpreted traditional ways and applied them to suit their needs.  Just like in the medical field there are many medicines out there that are used to cure similar ailments, but some brands work better for some people while others don't.  Some prefer the naturopath or homeopathy approach, while others find the contemporary or allopathy better suited to their needs.

BTB uses the ancient religious influences of meditation and the power of an individual's own intention behind its cures to bring about the desired results. There are different schools of Feng Shui. They fall into the category of either directional or non-directional Feng Shui.

I practice BTB Feng Shui. The basic difference between BTB and traditional schools is the use of directions as an absolute.  Today, unlike ancient times, it is not easy and practical to expect one to have the ability to choose where one lives.  The location in terms of directions is a matter, most often, not in our control.  Ideal real estate in big cities is a major challenge in present times.  BTB addresses these limitations with practical and cost effective adjustments.

Listen to what your heart says and what resonates with you.  If you're not sure what that is, choose one and find out.

  • What exactly do I get for my money?

For starters, the consultation itself. The consultation will provide cost-effective suggestions and powerful remedies to help you change your current situation and improve your overall quality of life.

In addition, support and coach you in creating the life you want.  Answer any Feng Shui consulting related questions that may come up since the consultation.  Create a plan of action that works best for you and a follow-up call.

  • How far do you travel for on-site consultations?

My apologies, I no longer provide on-site consultations. Currently, I am doing more workshops and classes so I can reach more people and teach them the beneficial simple principles of Feng Shui.

  • Will the information I share with you be confidential?

Yes, all information that is shared or discussed is kept confidential and is not shared with others.

  • Can I speak to some of your existing clients or at least see who you've worked with?

I do not publish my client list nor do I share the names of my clients with others in order to protect their privacy and the nature of their consultation. You can read their testimonials and reviews of my services.

  • What can I expect after the consultation?

After the consultation, you'll begin to notice a positive shift in the energy of your environment. Some people begin to experience amazing results the following day. Or for others it may take longer depending on the issue at hand. It also depends on the time frame that you implement the suggestions and remedies that were provided during the consultation.

  • How many consultations will it take?

For the typical consultation, just once. However, many people have me come back to review the space after suggestions have been implemented and to empower certain areas or objects in the space.

Some clients have me return to help them with certain methods or to provide blessings of the home.

  • How often should I receive a consultation?

Anytime you are experiencing difficulty with a given situation or life problem. I usually recommend a follow-up consultation or review every 6 months to a year.

  • What form of Feng Shui do you practice

I personally practice Black Sect Tibetan Tantric Buddhism Feng Shui, often referred to as Black Hat or the abbreviations of BTB. Buddhism is not a religion but a collection of practices for increasing self-awareness. The final goal is a state of enlightenment, in which peace is achieved being totally present in the moment.

Black Sect Feng Shui connects with ancient teachings to modern design theory, architecture, psychology, and ecology. The result is a unique blend of the ancient and the modern, the Eastern and the Western, and the spiritual and the material. The wisdom of the ancients is directly applied to the needs and problems of the modern world.

  • How does the Black Sect approach compare with the Compass School?

In the West, there are basically two widespread approaches to Feng Shui. The distinction between these approaches is important, especially if you enjoy perusing the multitude of Feng Shui books on the shelves.

The BTB approach to Feng Shui emphasizes the way that Qi, the life energy, flows through the space. The movement of this energy directly parallels the life conditions and the financial circumstances of the inhabitants. If the Qi is flowing well, the site tends to attract positive experiences and good fortune. Plants grow well, children are healthier, and families tend to be happy. Even the finances seem to flow better.

If the Qi is blocked or impure, the health and fortune of the area seems to suffer. Plants die, people tend to be sick or badly tempered, and businesses fail. There really are "happy places" and "unhappy places," characteristic of the life energy that is flowing through the spaces.

The BTB approach tracks the flow of Qi as it enters the space. The first focus point when examining a space, therefore is the main entrance. This is where both the people and the Qi enter the dwelling. The areas of the bagua are aligned with the space according to the location of the front door, known as the "Mouth of Qi."

The other school of Feng Shui that is followed in the West is the Compass School. If you hear about a Feng Shui consultant who aligns the bagua with the use of a compass, or who talks about north, south, east or west, you will know they are speaking from the perspective of the Compass School.

Unlike BTB Feng Shui, which emphasizes the way that the Qi energy flows through the space, the Compass School is primarily interested in aligning the space with the compass points, believing that energy always flows according to certain directions. While merely a different approach, it is important to recognize the distinction between the two perspectives to avoid getting confused by them.

No path has more value than any other; they all simply employ different means to the end.

  • Is Feng Shui a religion?

No. Feng Shui is an art that is based on the natural sciences of psychology, physiology, modern technology, science and design principles.  Feng Shui helps us to become conscious of universal laws and to apply this knowledge to our everyday life.

  • Do I have to move if my home has bad Feng Shui?

No. Problems are addressed with cures.  It is very rare where a move is suggested.

Cures are simple and depends on the client’s desire to change.

  • I am interested in using I Ching. Can you advise a simple way to understand it?

I Ching is not a religious book like the Bible, Torah or Koran and has nothing do with once religion. It is the most fundamental book on Chinese philosophy; one can call it as the “Book of Changes”. It is filled with wisdom and is the basis for much of Chinese thinking.

Feng Shui, as it is widely practiced, is based on knowledge contained in the book. With an open heart and mind you not only can understand it but also experience its wisdom seeping into your heart and spirit.

How can physical elements used in Feng Shui be related to bring about change in one’s love life?
Each Feng Shui element has its own properties and set of energies which influence your creative or mental energies. For example, it may help you to be firmer or be more positive about your ideas so that you venture into things you were hesitant to do before.

So you can see—Feng Shui is a means of re-establishing your positive, beneficial, inspiring energies inherent in your soul that are often dissipated or weakened due to negativity of your thoughts.

The 27 Day Feng Shui Love Cleanse can provide further insight into the subject if you are really interested to know.
What kind of compass should I buy to practice Feng Shui?

You have probably read or heard about expensive Lo Pan (compass) used in Feng Shui. Don’t be taken in by ads that say you can’t practice good Feng Shui without one. You only need to find the basic directions of north, south, east, and west. A simple compass like one that you’d take on a hike will do just fine. Now if you really want that Lo Pan (compass) because it does look really cool, go for it. You could probably buy one online or pick up a cheap one if you’re in China.

If I stand in several different areas of my house to take compass readings, will the directions change?

Directions always stay the same. In other words, north won’t turn into south or west. Just let the compass do the work for you.

  • I live in New York City and we have a wonderful China Town, I like the area even though I’m not Chinese. Can you tell me what do all the dragons mean?

Dragons are a powerful and positive symbol for Chinese people. Dragons are powerful and keep pursuing their goal until they reach it. You can use them as reminders to stick to your guns in whatever you’re going after. They are a symbol for good luck, many blessings, and goodness. Now on that note, do not go out and buy everything Dragon. There is a point where you can overdo a good symbol.
